Christ is Born

Luke 2:1-21

And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be taxed, everyone to his own city.

Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be taxed with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

John 1:29 John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Made in His Image a Natural Born Giver

It was a Sunday morning, Sept 9 of 2001 and I was praising God at church. He gave my wife and I the idea to write this book. After discussing it on our way home, we realized that everyone is a natural born giver. One way or another we help someone in some way through our lives. It’s the amount of help that really counts. When we give ourselves to help others in some way, it shows the natural born giver in us all. When I look back in my life, I can remember so many times of helping people; family, friends, and people I didn’t know before. Then, I found Jesus. I gave of myself to help others, not realizing I was born to give. As I got closer in God, I learned to give more of myself in tithing and offering, our time our love for others just trying to do what the word of God says to do each and every day of are walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. I challenge each and every one of you to really try help one person a month for twelve months. Each month make it a new person, and still keep in contact with the ones you have helped; maybe keep a journal to help you with the next person. And please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help and guide you each step of the way for a longer lasting relationship, with them and Christ Jesus. We put some scriptures together to build faith in the areas of giving and offerings. There are so many books in the Bible that teach about giving. We learn from them and use them to show you what God had planned out since the beginning of time. Also, we have included the definition of give from www.dictionary.com. It amazed me when I saw how extensive this definition is.

As we read the Bible the word of GOD we see and learn how GOD gives life to the world and universe and every living thing in or on the earth. GOD gave us the tools we need to be great Natural Born Givers to love GOD with all are might body and soul. To love all Men and Women and Children as we love are self's unconditional love like He gives us. There's so many meaning of giving most of us don't ever think about. The Bible shows us time and time again on giving. What He gives us each day what He wants us to give Him each day and what He shows or ask what He wants to give others each day. Loving one another with all are heart body mind and soul just as Jesus showed us time and time again in the Bible.
